Ibiza, smallest of the three Balearic Islands, A place where you should go if you love to party  a lot.  I’ve seen a video about Ibiza and lots of people having fun till dawn.  Nevertheless, the island of Ibiza is internationally known not only because of its non-stop party atmosphere, but also for its cultural and natural features. A great part of the island is listed under the United Nations World Heritage Sites. The treasures underlying this land are innumerable. Inland from the coastline, the traditional scenery of many villages and remote country houses and villas has remained intact, retaining the unique character of this island.

Ibiza also offers water sports, like surf, snorkeling and scuba diving.  This place will definitely entertain you and also meet a lot of people at the same time.  If you’re a beach lover better try Ibiza one of the beach beaches in Europe.  The two most remarkable aspects of Ibiza -biodiversity and culture- lead to its declaration of World Heritage Site by the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO).

Tarragona being part of Spain also has a beautiful beaches to offer.  But if you also wish to discover the revealing ancient vestiges standing testament to Spain s glorious past, the diverse archaeological complexes and museums spread about the Tarragona province and its capital are perfect for you. Just walk around towns like the picturesque Reus or the hectic Salou and discover its important heritage, along with the lifestyle of its hospitable dwellers. Also nature lovers are welcome, since the chances offered by Tarragona s natural parks and gardens are immense.

From the artistic point of view, there are not many places that have such a large number of monuments and tourist attractions concentrated in such a small area as Tarragona has. Iberian civilization remains are plentiful in the whole region, as well as multiple Roman vestiges, especially in Tarragona city, where you can follow the traces of Rome in the Catalonian region. The splendorous past of the city is enclosed in its several well preserved edifices. Its most notable landmarks and tourist attractions are the Roman Amphitheatre in Tarragona and the Cistercian monastery in Poblet, as well as many other places of interest within the capital city, just to mention some examples. Reus, home town of the internationally famous Gaudí, is nowadays a centre for Modernism architecture, a kind of art also to be found in many wine cellars through the whole Tarragona province.

Tenerife's central mountain, Mt. Teide, stands at 12,200 feet, and is the highest in Spain. A cable-car ride to the summit offers unrivalled views of the lunar-like landscape of the volcanic slopes. The view from its peak on one of the frequent crystal clear days is simply breathtaking. Colors from the different types of volcanic rock are seen clearly hues of ochre, orange and rust, green, black and beige, an entire color palette in fact! On the higher slopes grow a variety of plants like the bushy clumps of Teide daisy flower.

Lanzarote, Spain

magnusiax magnusiax - 3 months ago

Lanzarote is situated just 70 miles off the coast of Africa and is Eastern-most of the Canary Islands. The island is 37 miles (60km) long and 12 miles (20 km) wide, making it the fourth largest island in the Canaries.  Lanzarote is volcanic in origin. Due to the recent eruptions during the 18th and 19th centuries, many parts of the island seem to be from another world. Caves, mounds and rocks with shades of red, ochre, gold, copper and orange can be found, giving one the feeling of being on the moon, or in Mars. With the play of light and shadow, it is simply enchanting.

Lanzarote is the least mountainous of the Canary Islands , having large amounts of flatlands. The only native tree life seen is the palm tree, found in the banks of the gorges or barrancos and the bottom of the valleys. The palm groves of Haria , situated on the outskirts of the village is a sight to witness.

Costa del Sol

magnusiax magnusiax - 2 months ago

Costa del Sol is the most developed part of the coast. Many towns have been developed and recently have modernized their boardwalks, or ' paseo maritimos .' This picturesque town is in no shortage of tourist amenities, resorts and high-rise hotels. The nightlife is lively and colorful, with a string of bars and restaurants to delight in. Other attractions include zoos and water parks, casinos, bullfights and amusement parks (like the renowned Parque de Atracciones Tivoli).

The coast is often nicknamed "The Costa del Golf,” for it boasts one of the highest representation of first class golf courses. To entertain families and children, there are theme parks, including water parks, safari parks, go karting, and many beautifully landscaped public gardens. The younger generation are typically crowding in the areas of attraction like the Puerto Marina and the popular '24 hour square' of Benalmadena, as well as in Marbella's Puerto Banus. These places are very trendy and hip, and of course, knowing the youth’s preference for late night fun, these bars and clubs don't get up and alive until near midnight, and stay open until the wee hours of the morning.

Malta, Spain

magnusiax magnusiax - 2 months ago

According to archaeological findings, the islands of Malta were joined to Sicily and Africa in the Pleistocene epoch. At the time, the Mediterranean was a pasture land inhabited by a rich selection of animal and plant species.   After some time, the Maltese settlers established a community in a cave and grew into the Ghar Dalam culture. They were agricultural in nature, growing barley, wheat, and lentils. Some were also fisher folk and hunters.

There is great variety in archaeological ruins, from prehistoric temples to Punic tombs to ancient Roman plantations to underground labyrinths. The Maltese, being predominantly Catholic, have built numerous churches and cathedrals dedicated to St. Paul and St. John, two of the most important saints in Catholic Maltese culture. Malta , having a colorful military and wartime history, also features numerous fortresses and other military and defensive structures throughout its islands. While on a visit to Malta , one will find the many museums that the Maltese people and government have built to commemorate and celebrate Malta 's rich historical and cultural heritage. And, finally, there are even some archaeological features that cannot be easily classified, such as the cart ruts at the Clapham Junction and San Pawl tat-Targa at Naxxar .

Cordoba a place where people of all beliefs mix in one place. People of diverse cultures and religions (Jews, Muslims and Christians) have put in numerous contributions to the beauty of this outstanding place. A few number of important philosophers, scientists and artists surfaced from here. The contemporary Cordoba is now a Flamenco and Bullfighting township, and undoubtedly one of the most gorgeous places to visit in Southern Spain.

Cordoba´s history is over 2,000 years old. Both the Romans and Muslims contributed to the city’s status a capital city. Every culture that has set foot on this city has left its mark, and they remain evident up to this point in time.

The Moors conquered Cordoba in 711. During the time of Islamic Rule, Cordoba shined as the biggest city and was home to the most sophisticated culture and most developed officialdom in Europe.

Last year my family and I had an adventure.  We had fun in our trip even though it was so exhausting.  We definitely had fun hiking, taking pictures, experiencing the wild, and understanding the environment better.  It was a great experience for all of us and it was also good for our relationship with each other as a family.

Having an adventure vacation is enjoyable and it depends on what kind of adventure you choose, and what outdoor activities or vacations you love to do.  There’s a lot to do outdoors so you better choose wisely before having adventure trips.

Summer Camps

magnusiax magnusiax - 2 months ago

Summer Camps why do we have to join them?  Summer Camps are good means of developing everyone’s mind to be more interactive with others.  Many people benefit from summer camps specially kids; it helps develop their self esteem and helps improve their skills.

Our self esteem is very important in our whole life experiences.  It affects our attitudes and behaviors thru situations and the way we communicate with others.  Participating in summer camps will help us learn to acknowledge our strengths and limitations as a person.  When we were growing up, our successes (and failures) and how we were treated by the members of our immediate family, our teachers, coaches, religious authorities, and our peers, have contributed to the creation of our basic self-esteem.

Volunteer Vacation

magnusiax magnusiax - 56 days ago

It has been my passion to travel abroad to broaden my knowledge and gain experience while helping others. Teaching English, organizing craft workshops or taking part in academic activities to educate people how to become better and improving the quality of life are some of the activities I participate in.  There are many people suffering from illiteracy and malnutrition. As a volunteer, a single act helps make a community build progressive lives.
